Oysters are a necessity down here in New Orleans, although they are available in many part of the U.S. And the New York restaurateurs behind Seaworthy like to showcase the variety of oysters that this great country has to offer. Nestled alongside the hip area around the Ace Hotel in the CBD, Seaworthy is a nautical restaurant that serves up oysters from the coastlines of the U.S., including local ones, of course, as well as other fantastic menu items like crab, lobster and much more. I went to see what they had for brunch which was seafood-heavy dishes with some essential breakfast items like omelettes and Eggs Benedict. They also had an exquisite list of cocktails perfect to have with one of the items. But the best feature that sets Seaworthy apart is the oyster menu.
